Watford town centre is set to host a free outdoor cinema experience from 3 to 9 August 2026, with the Big Screen returning to the newly named Pondside events space by the pond. The event runs daily from 12:00am to 10:00pm, offering family films and evening screenings with no ticket or advance booking needed.

Residents can bring their own chairs, picnics, and small beach shelters or umbrellas for weather protection. Due to limited space, no on-site food traders will be present, but the council directs visitors to nearby High Street shops for food and drink. Screenings will only be cancelled if weather conditions become dangerous, such as extremely high winds.

Full film listings and programme details are available on Watford Town Centre.
