A summer activities programme for children aged 5 to 11 opens at Alma Street Church later this month, Wellingborough Town Council has announced. The Active Play Fun sessions run from 27 to 31 July and again from 3 to 7 August 2026, daily from 11am to 3pm.
Each day includes Mini Me Mindfulness, cricket and football, and every child receives a free healthy lunch. Places are free for children eligible for Free School Meals and £7.50 per child per day for other families. No on-site parking is available; families are directed to Waendel Leisure Centre Car Park on Thomas Street or Jacksons Lane Car Park.
