Police Release Image of Man Following Wellingborough Attack

Northamptonshire Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak with following an assault outside a venue in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The incident happened at around 10 PM on 20 March 2026.

No arrests have been made yet, and officers are asking the public for help identifying the person in the picture. The investigation is being supported by the Wellingborough and East Northants Neighbourhood Policing Team, which is led by Inspector Miriam Kiernan.

According to CrimeRate, Wellingborough has a crime rate roughly 30 per cent higher than the average for the rest of the county. Violence and sexual offences were the most common crimes in the town during 2026, while robbery offences have increased by 19 per cent over the last three years.
