Northamptonshire Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man after an attempted burglary on Dennington Road in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The force released CCTV images on February 16, 2026, hoping to find a person linked to the incident in the commercial and industrial area.

Residents and business owners near Dennington Road and surrounding streets are encouraged to check their doorbell cameras and dashcam recordings for any suspicious activity. Anyone with information is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police by calling 101 or using their online reporting tool.

This appeal comes as Wellingborough faces a crime rate that is 24 per cent higher than the average for the East Midlands. The area has seen similar property crimes in the recent past, including a break-in at a Greggs bakery drive-thru on the same road in October 2025.

Police officers hope that community footage will provide the leads needed to make an arrest and prevent further crimes in the local area. Dennington Road is known as a busy hub for businesses and local warehouses.
