Three men have been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison for running a drug supply network in the Welwyn Hatfield area of Hertfordshire. Hertfordshire Constabulary County Lines Investigation Unit led the operation to dismantle the criminal group.

The three men were sentenced at St Albans Crown Court on 29 January 2026 following a police investigation. Zack Gee, 25, of Appletree Way in Welwyn Garden City, was handed a sentence of eight years and six months for his role as the gang leader.

Mark Waller, 35, also from Appletree Way, was sentenced to five years and eight months. The third gang member, 21-year-old Tyrell Campbell from Borehamwood, was given a three-year prison sentence.

During the police operation, officers seized half a kilo of cocaine and more than £10,000 in cash. They also found and removed several bladed weapons from the properties during the raids.

Detective Sergeant Chris Cowell said that these drug lines are run by organised crime groups that use violence and pose a real threat to the community. Local residents are being encouraged to continue reporting any suspicious activity to help the police tackle similar crime networks in their neighbourhoods.
