The annual Molineux Sleepout will return to Wolverhampton on Friday 13 November 2026, offering residents a chance to raise vital funds for local homelessness support services. Participants will spend the night in the Stan Cullis Stand at Molineux Stadium, braving the cold conditions to stand in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness and vulnerability in the city.

Organised by the Wolves Foundation in partnership with the Good Shepherd, the event is now in its eighth year. Since its launch in 2019, the initiative has brought together 1,000 participants and raised more than £300,000. These funds are used to support essential services, including street homeless outreach, which remain critical in a city where youth unemployment is nearly double the national average and poverty levels remain high.

The 2026 event follows a successful turnout in 2025, where a record 250 people took part despite challenging weather. For many, the night has become a local tradition, including for Wolves director John Bowater and his daughters, Natasha and Neve, who have participated in the event for multiple years.

Registration for the 2026 sleepout is now open. Early Bird tickets are priced at £25 for adults, while entry for those aged 13 to 17 is £10. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult, and all attendees are encouraged to raise a minimum of £100 in fundraising. The event remains a key effort to address the challenges facing the local community, as the Good Shepherd continues its long-standing work in providing food services and support to those in need across Wolverhampton.
