Residents in Wolverhampton can expect a period of warm and sunny weather to start the week, before conditions turn cooler and wetter from Thursday onwards. According to the Met Office, the pleasant start to the week will culminate in a peak temperature of 22°C on Wednesday 8 April.

Those looking to spend time outdoors should make the most of the early week, as a notable change in the weather is expected on Thursday 9 April. Temperatures are set to drop to 12°C, accompanied by light rain and wind gusts reaching up to 34mph.

This more unsettled pattern is expected to continue through the weekend. From Friday 10 April to Sunday 12 April, the forecast indicates persistent cloud cover, temperatures remaining around 12°C, and a continued chance of rain.

While the weather will be pleasant for outdoor activities early in the week, those with seasonal allergies should be aware that pollen levels across the West Midlands are expected to remain very high throughout the entire week. Currently, air quality in the region is considered low, which allows for normal outdoor activities to continue.

The information provided by the Met Office was last updated at 7:23am on Monday 6 April 2026.
