The Wolverhampton Society of Artists (WSA) has confirmed its 2026 Spring Show will run from May 29, 2026, to June 30, 2026, at Weston Park in Shifnal, Shropshire. The exhibition will be held at the Rose Paterson Gallery, which is housed in the historic Granary building on the Weston Park estate.

Visitors will be able to view a wide range of work — including oil paintings, sculpture and textiles — created by both professional and amateur artists from the local area. This month-long show continues a tradition of public displays the society has maintained since it was established in 1919.

The exhibition is a selling event, allowing visitors to purchase works by local professional and amateur artists. According to the WSA, the group focuses on bringing forward fresh ideas while supporting artists who are active across the region. The society’s president is Steve Evans.

The Weston Park Foundation, which manages the Rose Paterson Gallery, hosts the show as part of its efforts to support regional culture. Gareth Williams, Head of Learning and Curator at Weston Park, said the exhibition is expected to be a lively and varied show that will offer something to interest a broad range of visitors.

While the society remains closely linked with the Wolverhampton Art Gallery, staging this exhibition at Weston Park helps the group reach visitors across the Shropshire and Staffordshire borders. The gallery is typically open daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM for the duration of the show; admission to the Rose Paterson Gallery is free, though parking or estate entry fees may apply.
